True Emotion

Hey Everyone…Happy Labor Day!  We just arrived back home after being at a Christian Music Festival all weekend in Sioux Falls, SD.  The festival is called “Life Light” and is a three day festival full of live Christian Music all day long.  The festival has a great variety of artists from all over the country performing on 6 different stages throughout the festival grounds.  We had the opportunity to perform at the festival on Friday and just felt blessed to be apart of God’s great mission-to Share His Love with Everyone that we come in contact with.  If you ever get that chance to visit South Dakota over Labor Day weekend and experience being apart of this festival you will truly be blessed!  God’s Blessings~have a great rest of Labor Day and a great week!   

Hey…how’s everyone doing?  You all having a good summer?  Our summer has been going well, it’s going by so quickly but it’s been enjoyable.  Just thought we’d stop by to say hi to all of you and give you an update on what we’ve been up to lately.  Last week Monday we took some new group photos which was a lot of fun.  We have changed a little since the last photo shoot, so it will be nice to have some updated photos to use once again.  We had our photos taken by an excellent photographer named Joshua Wilcoxon from South Dakota.  I’m sure once we get all the photos we’ll begin posting some on our website for you all to check out-so keep checkin’ back.  Well, we hope you’re all having a great week ttyl!

Hey Everyone,

        How are you all doing?  We’re doing great!  Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there.  We just thought we would post a new blog to keep you updated as to things that have been going on.  We had  a concert in Remsen, IA last night and it went great.  We were curious how good a turn out there would be since it was like the nicest Saturday of the summer so far (here in Iowa), but the place was filled!  All around the night went great…the sound, lightening, and staging couldn’t have gone any better, and we had a great audience too.  Everyone seemed so excited to be there; they were responsive and active in singing along with us on several songs.  I feel like this was a great event that was put on for the community and I hope they will continue to do more in the future! 

Going from cold rainy Iowa weather to the hot Oklahoma 90 degree weather full of humidity and wind was quite a change.  On Saturday afternoon June 7th we took part in Rock Fest 2008 which took place in Bartlesville, OK.  Rock Fest was put on by “On the Rock Ministries” whose mission is to introduce young people to a life-changing, life-saving relationship with Jesus Christ.  This festival had a great line up of performing artists that shared the love of Christ through their music as well as their words.  We felt extremely blessed to have the opportunity to share Christ love with those that were there and we hope and pray that the Lord may have touched even one life for Him in that day!

This Past Thursday night June 5 and Friday Morning June 6, we had the opportunity to lead the young ladies of Gem’s Camp 2008 in a time of praise & worship and entertainment.  It was such an awesome experience to see these young ladies so on fire for the Lord and ready to share Christ’s love.  The young ladies seemed to have a great time and everything ran as smoothly as we could have asked for.  We hope to have the opportunity to be apart of this event again in the years to come!
